Selection

To appear in our feed, a product must meet at least two of: it surprises the viewer, it would be screenshot-and-sent, it serves a specific persona well, or it solves a problem we haven't seen solved elsewhere.

Writing

Titles are short, sentence-case, and tell you the unexpected detail without giving away the punchline. Descriptions are one sentence. Long-form notes only appear when we have something to add beyond what's on the merchant's page.

AI tools are used to draft and check copy. Every published item is reviewed by a human editor before going live. We do not publish AI-only listicles.

Updates & corrections

Prices, stock, and links are checked on a rolling schedule. If a product becomes unavailable, we mark it archived. If we get something wrong, write to us and we'll fix it.

Independence

Curio accepts no payment for editorial placements. Sponsored items are labeled clearly and excluded from "best of" and "trending" surfaces.
